Business Responds to Victims of Hurricane Katrina The trail of destruction left by Hurricane Katrina is savage and horrifying. Hundreds of lives were claimed and over 1 million people in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama were left homeless this week as Katrina plowed through those states leaving massive flooding and billions of dollars of structural damage in her wake. The Center for BAWB would like to highlight the many businesses which are working as agents of benefit in this crisis by creating vital solutions to help hurricane victims begin to repair their economic and personal lives.
