World Inquiry
The World Inquiry into BAWB is a worldwide action-research initiative that uses Appreciative Inquiry (AI) to inspire face-to-face dialogue about the role of business in society and to discover the important business-in-society innovations taking place all over the world. The best of the uncovered innovations are profiled in the B·A·W·B Innovation Bank and other publications of the Center.
By showcasing the best in business-in-society innovations, The World Inquiry sparks conversations about the role and potential of business to act as an agent of world benefit.
We are especially interested in the following questions:
- How differently will the world's environment and the quality of life of its people appear to you when business serves as an agent of community and world benefit?
- How can companies create a healthy environment and healthy profit margins through use of the means and tools of Sustainability and Social Entrepreneurship?
The innovations surfaced by the World Inquiry efforts often become useful teaching resources for management educators, or grow into significant research projects.
