Judy Rodgers Judy Rodgers is executive director of BAWB. For the past twenty years she has served as consultant and communication strategist who has worked extensively with thought leaders to produce organizational transformation and to support social innovation. The emphasis in Judy's work is on Appreciative Inquiry and the power of dialogue and narrative for individual, community-wide and system-wide change. In 1997 she founded the Communication Architecture Group as a vehicle for a range of related work: organizational consulting, dialogue design and facilitation, management of communication projects, coaching, and editorial consulting. Ron FryRon Fry is on the faculty of the department of Organizational Behavior and faculty advisor to the Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. His research interests include organizational change and development, functioning of the executive, group dynamics and team effectiveness, whole systems change processes, management and leadership development, and applications of Appreciative Inquiry to foster human cooperation. Ron was one of the co-creators of Appreciative Inquiry at Case and heads the Institute for Advances in Appreciative Inquiry. David BrightDavid Bright is a Research Associate with the Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit and Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Behavior at Weatherhead School of Management. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University, M.A. in International Area Studies, and Masters of Organizational Behavior. He has conducted research or consulted with organizations such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Navy and Roadway International. His research interests center on the relationship between affirming interpersonal dynamics and organizational change. He is especially interested in workplace dynamics that allow people to act consistently with their deeply held beliefs and how this establishes a sense of purpose and meaning in their work. Duncan CoombeDuncan Coombeis currently working toward his PhD in Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management. Duncan's research interests include topics of cooperation, calling, CSR and sustainability. Within BAWB, Duncan is working on projects relating to the introduction and development of CSR in management education. Prior to starting his PhD, he obtained an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development, Lausanne, an LLB from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Social Science (majors in Psychology and Economics) from the University of Cape Town. Lindsey GodwinLindsey Godwin is a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management. She holds a M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University and a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Ohio Wesleyan University. She has worked as the Director of the University Dispute Resolution Project at George Mason and interned with the NIH Office of the Ombuds and the D.C. Superior Court's Conflict Resolution Division. During her time with the BAWB World Inquiry, she co-produced the First International Online Conference for Business as an Agent as World Benefit, has worked to help establish BAWB inquiry communities, as well as been a part of the BAWB collaborations with the UN Global Compact initiative. Darren GoodDarren Good is currently working toward his PhD in Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management. He received his M.A. in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and his B.A. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Darren focuses his research in the areas of mindfulness, attentional processing, interpersonal trust, personal values, and interorganizational collaboration. Lindsey GodwinJanet Roberts is the manager of communications for B·A·W·B. For over 20 years, Janet has worked as a journalist, freelance writer and litigation paralegal - at times in concert and at other times separately. Janet is responsible for developing a "voice" for the Center, articulating our action research, outreach, and teaching agendas for partners inside and outside the university, including those internationally. She serves as the managing editor for our many publishing ventures and as lead writer and editor on a range of writing and media production projects. Janet holds a B.A. in Communications/Journalism from Temple University, an A.D. in Paralegal Studies, and hopes to finish her M.A. in Communications at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in December 2005. She came to Case after three years of teaching communications and writing at a small business college in Erie, PA., and running her own freelance writing/freelance paralegal business. Nadya ZhexembheyevaNadya Zhexembayeva is a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. She received B.A. in Management and B.A. in Psychology from Hartwick College. Nadya's research and consulting interest includes positive organizational change, whole system approaches to organizational development, and Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability within the context of emergent economies. At the Center Nadya heads up the World Inquiry and serves in a capacity of Managing Editor for the BAWB Innovation Bank. In her three years with BAWB, Nadya has enjoyed a wide array of projects, ranging from strategic planning for BAWB and the World Inquiry to co-directing on-line conference production and facilitation for the BAWB global community.
