In June 2009 at the Global Forum for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, 600 leaders of design, sustainability, business, policy, and management envisioned and designed ways to enhance their fields and meet today's pressing social and environmental needs. Participants are now working to make their projects take flight in their communities, offices, board rooms, and schools. As an on-going initiative, the Global Forum for BAWB will reconvene in 2011.
In the meantime, work continues at the Virtual Forum, where you can connect with other participants, share your related work, watch videos of Global Forum speakers, panelists, and design sessions, and explore papers and presentations on Global Forum themes.
The Global Forum is hosted by Case Western Reserve University, the United Nations Global Compact, with its 4,000 corporations from around the world, and the Academy of Management, with its 19,000 business school professors from over 90 countries. The Global Forum made possible by the forum's consortium: the Fetzer Institute, SESI Brazil, and Fairmount Minerals. A special thanks to other Global Forum sponsors, Accenture and the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission.
