Capitalism at the crossroads and fortune at the bottom of the pyramid will be the topics of the first 2005-2006 B•A•W•B Colloquium Series as Stuart Hart, the S.C. Designing Information and Organizations with a Positive Lens
On November 11-12, 2005, Weatherhead will host a workshop on the potential contribution and role of a positive lens to the design of information and organizations. The workshop aims to advance a scholarship of design and positive change in human organizations that involves social and technical elements, and fosters betterment in human organizations and communities. The workshop will bring together a multidisciplinary group of leading scholars from industry and academia who are interested in exploring "positive" approaches, such as Appreciative Inquiry, for designing organizations, information, technologies, or social action.
