CENTER FOR BUSINESS
AS AN AGENT OF WORLD BENEFIT

Inquiry Communities

BAWB Russia

BAWB Russia was developed in 2004 as a joint initiative of The Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, USA and the International Academy for Leadership in Business and Administration (IALBA), a broad network of over 3,000 business leaders from all regions and industries in Russia and other NIS countries.

Envisioned as an appreciative space for Russian companies to join together and with a global forum dedicated to furthering businesses as agents of world benefit, BAWB Russia is moving forward under the leadership of Mark Tourevski, Ph.D., author of "Cutting the Red Tape: How Western Companies Can profit in the New Russia" and numerous articles published by the Russian Academy of Sciences, Columbia and Pennsylvania Universities, the American Management Association and more.

At BAWB Russia "space" is a combination of information, methods and people, and the term "appreciative" combines acknowledgment, recognition and incentive with an increase in value, growth and development. They use the Appreciative Inquiry method to focus on trends in economical efficiency, personal and spiritual growth, and contributions to the prosperity of their community, country and the world. Within the project, aspirations, efforts and achievements of participants are recognized through various honors and awards.
