B·A·W·B is hosting a world-class summit this fall showcasing its work with the Aspen Institute's Teaching Innovation Project (TIP) and launching itself as a new Weatherhead "school within the school". Using the Appreciative Inquiry summit methodology to bring together stakeholders from within the Weatherhead School of Management as well as from leading national and international business management schools and the business community, the three-day event will feature prominent, nationally known speakers and strategic visioning sessions designed to develop a bold business and society research and curriculum agenda across the entire school.

Purpose of the Summit:
- To bring together all B.A.W.B. stakeholders to develop the bold mission of creating an institution whose research and teaching agenda is the advancing of extraordinary innovations at the intersection of business and society.
- Through the creation of this agenda, revolutionize the way the world eradicates poverty, restores the biosphere, and creates global understanding and peace.
|

The Goals of the Summit:

- To co-create B·A·W·B as a school-within-the school at Weatherhead.

- To generate a cutting edge, cross-disciplinary research and teaching agenda around business and society issues.

- To provide a model process for other management schools interested in creating a business and society agenda within their own institution.
