Dr. Joseph Adelegan, a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer earned a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Nigerian Premier University, the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a Salzburg Fellow, a Royal Government of the Netherlands Scholar and a 2006 Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, Geneva, Switzerland. He also holds an MSc and BSc degrees in Civil Engineering. Joseph also earns an MBA degree specializing in Management Science. He is an Alumnus of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Cambridge and the University of California, Berkeley, USA. He is the Founder and the Executive Chairman of the Global Network for Environment and Economic Development Research, a front-line African nonprofit environment and development institution. Joseph has about two decade of professional experience spread across engineering consulting on internationally financed (World Bank and African Development Bank) water and sanitation projects, construction, project management, research, public service, university lecturing, policy advocacy and social entrepreneurship. He has attended and presented papers at international conferences in Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East and North America spreading over 30 countries of the World. He is a recipient of several international awards and fellowships on environment and sustainable development issues. |

Dave Sherman is a partner with Blu Skye Sustainability Consulting http://www.bluskye.com. He helps executives formulate and execute breakthrough strategies that combine stakeholder-based insights with industry and company specific sources of advantage. For the past 20 years he has served clients on five continents. He was a founding partner of Sustainable Value Partners and a Vice President with A.T. Kearney where he led an Asia-based practice. Clients include: Wal-Mart, Bunge, Cathay Pacific, Philips Electronics and other leaders in sectors such as chemicals, consumer products, energy utilities, financial services, government, healthcare, high-tech, oil and gas, retail, and transportation. He earned his doctorate in management at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University where he researched social entrepreneurship and is a Fellow in the school's Center for Business as an Agent of World benefit. Dave also holds an M.B.A. from UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.

Ilma Barros, Ph.D. is President of Infinity International Ltd. and an ELIAS (Emerging Leaders for Innovation Across Systems) Fellow. As part of her activities in Brazil, Ilma is a senior consultant for the Federation of Industries of the State of Parana responsible for the strategic planning for the Federation as well as industrial segments, such as the Employers Union. She coordinates B.A.W.B. (Business as an Agent of World Benefit) – Brazil and Global Forum Latin America, and was responsible for the methodology and content used at the Future 10 Parana Forum, a platform of proposals for the strategic planning of the state for the next 10 years. Ilma also managed the Brazil round table for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and she consults to the World Bank. She recieved her Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University and was an Assistant Professor of Business at the State University of New York.
